  • One Design Racing

    We run weekly sunfish races right off our beach. A very competitive fleet that welcomes sailors of all levels who want to learn, hone their skills, or just have fun with others on the water. Our racers travel well and compete internationally in the top regattas of the sunfish class.

  • Social Events

    Our social committee plans many events for our members gather and get to know eachother off the water. Keep an eye on the calendar for the spring cocktail party, brunch on the bluff, movie night on the beach, and the very popular Lobster boil every fall.

  • Adult Learn to sail

    Don’t know how to sail? No problem, we have a course run every summer to help our members grow the confidence needed to sail one of our club boats.

  • Paddleboarding

    What could be more peaceful than a sunrise paddle on a large open lake as flat as glass. Paddleboards have become extremely popular for our members to enjoy a calming experience or fun play with the kids. If you’d like to organize group outings with people who share your passion please reach out and we can help connect our members!

  • Kayaking

    Many of our members enjoy enjoy getting out on Lake Michigan for a scenic paddle. If you’d like to help organize group outings please get in touch so we can create fun outtings to safely explore the lake.

  • Youth Sailing Camp

    We partner with the Lake Bluff Park district to provide boats and gear for their Youth Sailing Camp each summer

Rich Chapman made the podium in both events at the Sunfish Midwinters at Davis Island Yacht Club. Rich finished 3rd in the International Masters event (1 point behind first & second place who tied!) and 7th place at the US National event. Congrat
